The Canine Clipper is proud to offer a kennel alternative.  Home style boarding with large fenced yards allowing your pets fun, freedom, socialization and exercise.  Couches and beds (often our bed or the kids') on which to sleep provide your beloved pet with all the comforts of home.  In addition Amy and Katie interact with the dogs throughout the work day providing loads of love, play, and basic obedience.  Space is limited to ensure each dog gets plenty of TLC.

A temperament meeting is required for all dogs before reservations will be confirmed.  Puppies should be at least 6 months of age and housetrained.  Shot records for current rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella are required.  Other requirements, issues and questions will also be discussed at this meeting.

The Peloquin Family makes your pet a part of the family during his stay.  He has 24/7 access of The Canine Clipper.  His human, on the other hand, has check in and check out times.  This avoids disruption of grooming and disruption of Peloquin family time and obligations.

Monday-Thursday @ 9am, 4pm and 8:30pm

Friday & Saturday @ 9am only

Sunday @ 8:30pm only

Check out is 9am.
If staying until 4pm or 8:30pm (on days available) a full day board fee will be charged.

Boarding rate: $30/day/dog
(We also board cats, other small animals and reptiles)

Multi-dog discounts available

A non-refunable deposit of one half the total board fee may be required to hold a reservation.

Holidays may require full payment in advance, may require a minimum stay and may have special hours and days of operation.  First time dogs are generally not accepted over a holiday.

Cancellation of or changes to an existing boarding reservation require at least 7 days notice or full charges will apply.  Cancellations must be made BY PHONE and you must physically speak with Amy or Katie.  No emails or phone messages will be considered a cancellation or change notice.  

Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends will all require a 5 day minimum stay.  Boarding will be closed July 9th through July 18th of 2010.  

Reservations should be made well in advance of your pets' vacation!
