The Canine Clipper is proud to offer a kennel alternative. Home style dog, cat and small animal boarding. Large fenced yards allow your dogs fun, freedom, socialization and exercise. Couches and beds (often our bed or the kids') on which to sleep provide your beloved dog with all the comforts of home. In addition Amy interacts with the dogs throughout the work day providing loads of love, play, and basic obedience. Space is limited to ensure each dog gets plenty of TLC.
A temperament evaluation is required for all dogs before reservations will be confirmed. Puppies should be at least 6 months of age, spayed/neutered and housetrained. Shot records for current rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella are required. Other requirements, issues and questions will also be discussed at this meeting.
The Peloquin Family makes your pets a part of the family during their stay. They have 24/7 access of The Canine Clipper. Their humans, on the other hand, have check in and check out times. This avoids disruption to grooming and disruption of Peloquin family time and obligations.

Monday-Thursday @ 9am, 4pm and 8:30pm
(2/1/12 - 5/8/12 Mon & Tues afternoon check time will be 3:30pm!)
Friday & Saturday @ 9am only
Sunday @ 8:30pm only
Check out is 9am.
If staying until 4pm or 8:30pm (on days available) a full day board fee will be charged.
Boarding rate: $30/day/dog
(We also board cats, other small animals and reptiles - please call for pricing)

Credit cards are now being accepted through Paypal.
Effective 2/1/12 a credit card will be required to hold ALL boarding reservations.
Please be aware of and make certain to completely understand our Boarding Cancellation Policy.

Holidays may require full payment in advance, may require a minimum stay and may have special hours and days of operation. First time dogs are generally not accepted over a holiday.
Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, July 4th, Spring Break, Easter Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years all have a 5 day minimum stay.
Reservations should be made well in advance of your pets' vacation!
